If you’ve been working with Antigravity 2.0 and have encountered rate limits or wondered how your usage is billed, then you should understand the different ways to authenticate into Antigravity and how they dictate your available quota, model access, and your billing.
🔑 Login Options at a Glance
When opening Antigravity 2.0, you are presented with two primary authentication routes:
- “Continue with Google” will use your gmail account and offer either the Starter Quota plan (Free Tier) or the Pro or Ultra plans you may have signed up for, which will greatly improve your quota. These are all good for solo builders and do not require setting up a Google Cloud environment (no project or billing account needed).
- “Use business account” offers either a pay-as-you-go model or the use of a Gemini Enterprise license with a method of payment linked to your Google Cloud environment. This is the recommend path for collaborative enterprise development with increased quota tied to your business environment.

Here’s a quick walk through signing with your business account from within Antigravity :
Make sure that that page opens in the browser window with the user logged in, select the account and sign in :
Within a few seconds (and in my experience without having to click on “Open Antigravity”), the screen in the tool should update. This is where you need to specify your Google Cloud project.
If your admin has set up Gemini Enterprise licenses for this project, you will be able to select one. Otherwise the Agent Platform Plan will use your project associated billing account to charge the Antigravity usage, so simply keep the “Use Agent Platform instead” option selected and click next.
Don’t mind the red message — it simply means that you don’t have Gemini Enterprise licenses set up. This is not a blocking error.
The region should be chosen based on your latency, data residency, and governance preferences.
Once set up, clicking on Settings (gear on the bottom left) and then on the user icon(bottom left of the Settings window) should confirm that the user is on the Agent Platform plan (or using a Gemini Enterprise license seat) :
The Models section in your Settings should also reference the Agent Platform plan:
Caveats and Troubleshooting
If you see a Starter Quota instead of a business environment, it simply means that you’ve used “Continue with Google” to log in instead of “Use business account”. Log out and try again!
You should make sure the aiplatform.googleapis.com service is enabled for the project and that the user has the “Agent Platform User” role.
Everything discussed above applies to Antigravity 2.0 (the main tool), but the same login methods and subsequent plans are all available in Antigravity CLI (agy). Only if you’re using the IDE, as of v2.5.5, the “business account” login method is not supported.
